How it works
1. Check out above — there's a field for your palette or product URL, or just reply to your receipt with files. Hex lists, brand sheets, style-guide PDFs and live URLs all work.
2. The audit runs on the published OpticQuiz engine, then gets human review of every flagged conflict in context.
3. Your report arrives by email as a PDF within the stated turnaround. Nothing you send is shared, and nothing is retained beyond the engagement.
The method is published
These audits are not a black box. The simulation is Machado, Oliveira & Fernandes (2009) in linear RGB; the conflict metric is CIEDE2000; the methodology and its calibration limits are published open-access (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21310578). The engine itself is installable — opticquiz-cvd on npm and PyPI — so you can verify any number in your report yourself.
Straight answers
Is this a legal accessibility audit? No. It is a colour-vision accessibility review — one specific, measurable layer, done rigorously. It does not certify ADA, Section 508, WCAG or EU Accessibility Act compliance, which cover far more than colour. The report states exactly what was checked and how.
The free checker already passed my palette — why the audit? The checker tests colours against each other in isolation. The audit tests colours in their roles, gives you corrections where problems exist, and puts it in writing.
What if you can't deliver? If the report cannot be delivered as described, the payment is refunded in full.
